Originally from Argentina, Hernan’s family moved to the US as political refugees at the age of 10. Decades later he formed a folk/pop duo called the Sweetheart Army which gigged around Seattle. After working with plants, he began catching and writing medicine songs in his native tongue (Spanish) and performing with his band called La Dulce Vida at several PNW festivals. More recently, Hernan has focused on family and holding space at Snowgrass Lodge. His latest EP was inspired by his daughter Raina and his journey to fatherhood.
