Moksha Kusa Marquardt is an artist, and drum maker from Seattle, Washington. He studied commercial art in Seattle in the early 90s. Although he had an introduction to painting at that time, he is mostly self-taught.

Undoubtedly growing up in the PNW has had the deepest influence on his work, as is evident from his subject matter which consistently depicts nature as a well-balanced, magical system of ever-evolving life and death.

With more than two decades as a creative professional in the corporate world, he is now a full-time independent artist fully engaged in manifesting his own dreams. The creative process is his passion, whether it’s painting, drum making or some other creative exploration.

When not working he loves to hike in the woods of the PNW, play drums, brew the perfect chai and cook healthy-minded meals.
