Ferry

Blooming Heart will be held on at Ravensong Farm, July 3 – 5, 2026 on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands. To get there you will need to take a ferry from Anacortes Wa. Ferry reservations can be made at The Washington State Ferries website.

On the Anacortes/San Juan Islands routes:

85% of the space on each vessel is available to reserve. The remaining 15% of vehicle deck space is always held open for stand-by vehicles. Additional stand-by space may also be available due to no shows. Space is released according to the following schedule:

  • 2 months before the season start date at 10:00 a.m. (Sometime in April. Date will be announced)
    • 25% of standard vehicle space is released.
    • All 75% of tall, non-standard vehicle space is released
  • 2 weeks before each sailing date at 7:00 a.m.
    • Additional 25% of standard vehicle space is released
  • 2 days before each sailing date at 7:00 a.m.
    • 35% of standard vehicle space is released
    • Final 15% of standard vehicle space is released day of sailing.

Food

Blooming Heart is an all camping event so bring food to cook at camp and bring some to share. There are no food vendors but there are local restaurants that you will need to drive to. On Saturday evening, we will have a potluck dinner at 5pm. Mikey will have his big grill running so please bring something to share or throw on the grill. We will have a kitchen area for prepping cleaning so please bring you own bowls and utensils. 

What to Bring

Blooming Heart will be held at Ravensong Farm on Orcas Island. It is an all camping event with car camping available in the parking area. The event site will have potable water, a kitchen area and swimming pond.

Please bring:

  • Tents, hammocks, headlamp and camp cooking gear.
  • Food for the weekend
  • Food for the Saturday Potluck
  • Something inspirational to share
  • Music and art
  • Kindness and compassion

Please DO NOT bring:

  • Sound systems
  • Fire
  • Dogs

General camping and full access to all music, performances and workshops that we offer throughout July 3 – 5, 2026.

Gates open on Friday, 3rd (10 a.m.) and all attendees must exit the grounds before Monday, 6th (11 a.m.)

Yes, Blooming Heart is for all ages and family friendly however anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent.

Dogs are not allowed. Please leave them at home. If you have a service animal let us know.

Parking will be nearby the event space. Follow our directions and look for signs as you arrive.

The average temperature on Orcas Island during July is high 70s during the day and mid 50s in the evenings. It does typically rain in Washington so please prepare for rain and keep warm and dry during night time.

There are porta potties onsite. There is a bathhouse with toilets, showers and bath. There is a pond for swimming and sauna.
